My first impression is Seema (The Bride) and Nimish (The Groom) together make such a great Couple which is a delight for any Wedding Planner to work with. Since beginning of their wedding plan they were determined what exactly the want and how they want it to be done. Their decisions were thoughtful and quick making it lot easier to proceed with overall plan and blocking Hotels and Venues.

After series of emails daily the Wedding Package was drawn with the broad instructions and preferences. They visited Goa for a short break  (in Nov 09) as well as checking out the venues/hotels they have booked. Meeting with them lasted just a few hours and most of the details were sorted on spot.

Just a week before wedding most of the finer details including the Guests list, check in times, Airport transfers, logistics, timeline of events etc were taken care to have the 3 days events run smoothly as desired.

The Guests started to arrive a few days ahead to enjoy a holiday in Goa and bless the special day. Celebrations opened with the Lunch on 29th of  January. Mehndi and the Sangeet Night was planned at one of the Semi private Beach locations starting from early evening. They opted for an Arabian Setup which was a great choice as as it looks so beautiful at a Beach location. The evening was fun filled, lot of dancing and Music and delicious Sea Food.

In the Morning of 30th January ganpati Pujan, Grah Shani and Pithi was organised followed by a very light Brunch. Guests then started to get ready for the Evening. Early evening everyone gathered in the Lobby of Hotel (it was really tricky to get the Guests transported from 3 different Hotels at right time) to form a procession. Nimish leaded the procession while Drum Players played some good Beats. He was welcomed by Seema’s Mother and family and all Gujarati customs added traditional color to the ambiance.

Seema arrived in a Club Car with her Uncles and Bridesmaids (she looked very elegant in the traditional wedding dress). Ceremony was performed by a Gujarati Pandit making sure that the smallest details are well attended which lasted about one and half hours. After the farewell of Bride everyone went for a wash and change or made themselves comfortable at Hotel’s Bar.

Reception Dinner started later in evening at 7.30 PM in the main lawns. Color theme “Voilet and Cream” was carried in every part of decoration and setup. A formal sit down buffet Dinner started with Couple arriving and cutting the cake. Fireworks went up to surprise everyone! After a few speeches and the Dinner, the couple performed their First Dance (it was a very emotional and romantic movement). Towards the end of dance Emcee invited all the Couples to join in as well. The Party then swinged into an informal mood and everyone danced off their feet. Dance and Music continued till 2.30 AM in an indoor venue making every moment memorable.

The Guests departed with very happy  memories to cherish rest of life, so as the newly married Couple.
Wishing Seema and Nimish a very Happy married life ones again!
